Tapper Interiors signs the RICS Conflict of Avoidance Pledge

Tapper Interiors has joined other leading construction groups and partners in signing the RICS Conflict Avoidance Pledge. This underpins our stance and commitment to building the best environment for supply chains and workers in our industry.

The Conflict Avoidance Pledge is about working together with business partners and contractors to maintain a good business relationship within the industry. It is about addressing and solving problems and issues early on to maintain a healthy collaborative relationship.

This outlook on the industry and business relationships not only contributes to higher employee morale but also ensures we work together to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and without any legal disputes.

Commenting on the signing of the pledge, Tapper Interiors Business Operations Director, Helen Tapper, stated:

“The RICS Conflict Avoidance Pledge embodies the spirit of the whole construction supply chain, working together to use every power within their means to solve disputes before the mechanism of adjudication is resorted to.”

At Tapper Interiors, we’re encouraging all members of the design and construction industry to sign the Conflict Avoidance Pledge. We want to help maximise the effect of this working principle and ensure that the core values are embedded in construction teams and individuals of the future.

Why Sign the RICS Conflict of Avoidance Pledge?

We believe in collaborative working and utilising early intervention techniques throughout our business contracts and supply chain to resolve differences of opinion and avoid legal disputes.

Signing the pledge signals to other organisations that you;

  • Are a good business to work with
  • Prioritise maintaining good working relationships with contractors and partners
  • Are fully committed to delivering high-quality services that are good value for money
