The Brief

Tapper Interiors were appointed as a sub-contractor to provide specialist interior and exterior works for this prestigious new build development for Porsche in Portsmouth.

What We Did

The building comprised of a two storey vehicle display area, roof vehicle storage, access by 2 stage internal car lift. Full vehicle servicing workshop including MOT testing and first class wash and valeting bays.

Tapper Interiors Installed

  • External metal studwork and plywood covering for finishing by others.
  • External wall lining and internal metal stud partitions with both acoustic and fire ratings
  • Suspended ceilings comprising of plasterboard as well as grid and tile. Complex curves were formed in the plasterboard ceilings
  • Linear metal plank suspended ceilings
  • Internal doorsets
  • Joinery and Toilet IPS Systems
  • Kitchen installations
  • Curved staircase feature

How We Made a Difference

We overcame challenging problems with ceiling junctions that enabled a high quality finish to be achieved.

The Brief

Tapper Interiors were appointed as a sub-contractor to provide interior and exterior fit-out works for this prestigious development in Solihull

What We Did

The building was designed for McClaren and Rolls Royce Dealerships on the ground floor, with a used supercar showroom on the first floor.

Tapper Interiors Installed

  • Metsec framing to the exterior of the building, covered with plywood ready to receive finishes by others
  • External wall lining and internal metal stud partitions
  • Suspended ceilings comprising of plasterboard, grid/tile and also Luxalon metal planks
  • Curved bulkheads
  • Glazed screens
  • Internal doorsets
  • Kitchen installation and IPS panelling systems
  • Bespoke feature wall behind turntable area

How We Made a Difference

We worked closely with MCS and the design team to produce an excellent feature above and behind the car turntable area, which has been commented upon several times since completion.

The Brief

Tapper Interiors were appointed as a sub-contractor to provide interior fit out and exterior cladding works for the Deck 92 area at Land Rover Solihull.

What We Did

New facility including front office, amenities and Reception.
Construction within Jaguar Land Rover live operations in 2 Phases

  • Double skin steel partitions
  • External Wall lining and internal partitions
  • Plasterboard and grid/tile suspended ceilings
  • XL composite glazed screens incorporating integral remote controlled blinds

  • Raised access flooring
  • Hygienic wall cladding in WC areas
  • IPS Panelling system

How We Made a Difference

The work was completed on time and to a very high standard. As a result of this, the next phase of work to form a VIP Walkway and Visitors Centre was successfully negotiated
